I am an ordained pastor with the Foursquare denomination, and in addition to 20+ years of pastoral discipleship, I earned an M.A. in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University in 2019 and I serve as a Foursquare counselor in their Pastoral Care Department. . 

I have extensive experience coaching and counseling pastors and leaders in church ministry and a passionate desire to help pastors and leaders live into their full potential and live healthy and productive lives in ministry.

I am certified with the following:

  • ACC Certified Life Coach, 2018, International Coaching Federation

  • SYMBIS Marriage Counseling Facilitator

  • Prepare/Enrich Marriage Counseling Facilitator

  • Grief Counseling Certified

I also serve as a trained facilitator for the Foursquare Discovery process (Younique Life Design). This biblically based life design program helps you discover your unique life-giving contribution and purpose. I teach pastoral coaching, alongside Amy, at the Foursquare Western Ministry Institute.

My passion is teaching, coaching, and releasing leaders into their full potential.   Don’t hold it against me, but I am also a die-hard USC football fan, and my favorite pastime is playing basketball.

Amy Swanson

As an ordained pastor with the Foursquare denomination, my primary experience is in the field of education and church leadership.  I have a passion for providing spiritual and emotional care to others, as well as a desire to help people discover their strengths and areas for growth.

I am a certified Spiritual Director with the Soul Formation School of Spiritual Direction, and I am a professional certified (PCC) coach with the International Coaching Federation. I am also a certified Guided Autobiography instructor through the Birren Center for Autobiographic Studies. I have the important roles of wife and mom of three adopted adult children. I would be an excellent coach for someone seeking direction or prioritizing their values.

I get especially excited about helping people navigate life transitions with clarity and confidence. I love helping people of any age who are entering new seasons of life to discover their passions and God-given potential.  I thrive when I can come alongside others to reinforce their personal and spiritual growth and guide people toward deeper connections with themselves, others, and God.

I am qualified to teach coaching workshops using the COACH Model® through Creative Results Management—one of the largest coaching organizations, training with a Christian worldview. 

In my spare time, I run a mobile petting zoo business with my son, and I raise chickens and ducks and collect honey from my beehives
